Supporting the Wider Curriculum in Schools - Mid-Day Supervisor, Breakfast Club, After School Club Pathways
This course is approximately 20 weeks of 1.5 hours per week and has been developed to meet the needs of those working as a mid-day supervisor or who support the wider activities of school such as before- and after-school clubs. It also includes units of work from the Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools. No further qualifications are needed but learners must be in post or new to a post in the relevant area. Once achieved, learners may then progress onto the City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and train towards the teaching assistant's role and qualification.
