Skills For Independent Living
The ‘Skills For Independent Living’ section delivers high-quality courses to learners who are ably different. In a supported environment, learners with individual learning needs are able to engage in a wide variety of courses which help to facilitate independent living skills. Courses are generally held within identified day centres, residential homes and health units, although community courses are also available. All our courses are learner-led, differing in content, level and length. We also offer courses which are accredited. During past academic years, courses such as cookery skills, community safety, art therapy and gardening skills have been enjoyed.
