EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITES
Students are encouraged to make the most of all the opportunities that a Community College can offer.

The college has priority use of many Recreation Centre facilities, including free use of the sports hall, access to squash courts and the Centre’s own hi-tech weight training room. 11th Sessions (additional voluntary classes in all aspects of the curriculum) provide a wealth of opportunities straight after school and in the evenings.

The College has an outstanding reputation for Drama in the County and has superb theatre facilities. We are visited by professional theatre groups and visit other theatres with our students. Field trips for Geography and History students, conferences and university visits are a regular feature of school life.

During our Activities Week in December and July, students have the opportunity to take part in an extensive programme of events, ranging from outdoor pursuits residential experiences, skiing and cultural visits to numerous school based activities which the normal school timetable is unable to offer.
